Why Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich didn’t get more votes . This keeps the elderly in the US–who vote more than anyone else–from being exposed to any information other than what main stream media tells them. Maybe the media is trying to defend their advertising dollars. It may also be because they don’t want the elderly to know certain things like the US is building 14 permanent military bases in Iraq. Having watched films like Orwell Rolls in his Grave, and Century of Self, I believe this is quite deliberate. The control the mainstream media has is extremely dangerous to democracy. We need to reach out to other voters, and particularly elderly voters, in order to break through the reality being created by the mainstream media. People also need to understand the real root of political power in the United States is finding out what your precinct is, and attending caucuses. Depending on the state you live in, the caucus can actually determine who winds up on the ballot. Again I recommend against splitting off into a third party. The media will not give them any coverage. Legally they don’t have to give them any coverage. Unless you are a billionaire, the only thing breaking off into a third party will do, is leave the corrupt people in the Democratic Party or the Republican Party to do as they please. Don’t get caught in that trap. Divide and Conquer or United We Stand Divided We FallAn Example of How the Caucus System Works |
