People keep saying the US is going to fall just like the Roman empire did. I hate to say it, but I think they may be right.
One of the worst problems is, many people agree the US is in trouble, but we don’t agree on what the problem is.
Christian fundamentalists believe it’s because every one in the US isn’t Christian.
Some people think it’s because corporate greed is hollowing out the country, sending all the jobs over seas, and funneling all the money to the rich.
I have to say focusing on cramming Christianity down everyone’s throat does take the the focus off, the corporations. Maybe that’s why many corporations support Christian fundamentalists.
I am a conservative, but I do believe undermining US sovereignty, so CEOs can make 500 times the income of the average worker is NOT what being a conservative is all about. It appears many conservatives have been tricked into believing that’s what they represent, but that’s really a contradiction. If you believe you are a Republican because you are Christian, you should try reading Matthew19:16-26. I don’t think lobbyists have any place in free trade. Once you have lobbyists influencing trade deals, you have fascist trade not free trade.
I believe neither the Democrats nor the Republicans are perfect. Both have some good points, and both have some that are really bad.
You could say I started this site to try to unite people who are more moderate, and to express an idea I call Political Block Theory. Just because I consider myself conservative that doesn’t mean I have to be a Christian Fundamentalist, or be prejudges against gay people. If your a Democrat that doesn’t mean you have to support illegal immigration, or be against the Second Amendment of the Bill of Rights.
